Building a soft-focus base
How to layer tint, concealer and powder for a base that looks like skin — just a little smoother.
A soft-focus base is about restraint: just enough product, placed thoughtfully, so skin still looks like skin.
Sheer first, then build
Apply a thin layer of tint all over, then add a second layer only where you want more evenness. A damp sponge helps press product in for a seamless finish.
Conceal with dots
Use tiny dots of concealer and tap them in. It's easier to add than to take away.
Powder only where you need it
Press a little loose powder through the centre of the face and leave the rest of the skin to show through.
